LAWRENCEBURG CONSERVANCY DISTRICT

What We Do

The Lawrenceburg Conservancy District (LCD) maintains and operates the Lawrenceburg levee system, consisting of 18,300 feet of earthen levee, 8 flood gates, 5 pump stations, and a system of pressure relief wells – ultimately protecting 2 billion dollars in property and infrastructure value, along with the many people that work and sleep behind the protection of the levee wall.

Who We Are

The Lawrenceburg Conservancy District is run by a seven-member Board of Directors. Day-to-day operations are managed by the LCD Superintendent and an experienced three-man crew.
